The course is designed for those seeking personal development, those who want to realise their potential and especially those seeking a new type of experience. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a beginner or professional, prefer shooting with a digital or analogue camera.
Beyond being a course, these two days will provide an unforgettable experience in this vibrant, exciting city. We don’t just teach photography, our belief is to enlighten and inspire people to realise their potential. You will leave a more confident street photographer having learnt new skills. Being totally immersed in the local culture, exploring diverse areas in a way that no tourist would ever normally do, each area bringing something unique to create the mixing pot that is Barcelona.
What you’ll learn.
Because group sizes are small, limited to 4 per tutor Keith and Joan treat you as an individual, giving you as much one to one time as you need. Working at your own pace using simple non technical language you can understand. You will delve into the culture of Barcelona as well as discovering great areas to capture street photography.
Each guest will spend time working with Keith and Joan so if you’re with Keith in the morning you will be with Joan in the afternoon thus maximising your experience.
Our courses are very friendly, relaxed and sociable so the first day will begin with the guests getting together over a coffee and a chat giving Keith and Joan the opportunity to assess your needs and what you are looking for from the course, we want you to go home happy with some great shots!
Of course you will learn various street photography techniques, but more importantly Keith and Joan will help you understand yourself, focus on your strengths and help you to realise your potential.
The experience is character building; you will gain a deeper understanding of human behaviour.
Keith and Joan will inspire and encourage you, give you the confidence to approach people in the street and, once approached, how to connect with them instantly putting them at ease and just as importantly gaining their confidence to capture the individual’s character making it a mutually rewarding experience.
It’s about personal enlightenment and fulfilment. Keith believes that a great image is 25% photographic skill 75% human skill.

Joan Figueras about street photography: “Street photography is not a job it’s just a way of life, a way of observe, a way to express oneself. To photograph is, as Henri Cartier Bresson said; to put on the same line of sight one’s eye, one’s head and one’s heart”. Want to try with us in Barcelona?
